On Monday, September 20th and Tuesday, September 21st, 2010, Mr. Binder presented a workshop to the students in Periods 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Teams of students each built towers using straws and masking tape. The tallest tower that was able to stand for 15 seconds won. Here are pictures of some of the students in action.
Students are now working in teams to develop Pop In presentations based on this activity. Student teams will be ready to present this workshop in your classes. Please let us know if you would like to "book" a presentation team to come to your class to do this activity with your students.
